Crispy Pepperoni French Bread Pizza

  • 1 loaf French bread, halved lengthwise
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 20–30 slices pepperoni
  • 1 tsp dried oregano (optional)
  • Fresh basil or red pepper flakes for garnish

Prep the Bread:
Preheat your oven to 425°F (218°C). Place the French bread halves on a baking sheet, cut side up. Brush with olive oil and toast in the oven for 4–5 minutes to prevent sogginess.

Build the Pizza:
Spread a generous layer of pizza sauce over each bread half. Sprinkle with mozzarella, then top with pepperoni. Add oregano or red pepper flakes if desired.
