This refreshing and sophisticated appetizer combines sushi-grade tuna with creamy avocado, spicy sesame oil, and a hint of citrus. It’s perfect for dinner parties or whenever you’re craving something light and gourmet.

Elegant & Spicy Tuna Tartare with Avocado and Sesame
🧄 Ingredients (Servings: 4)
  • 8 oz sushi-grade ahi tuna, finely diced
  • 1 ripe avocado, diced
  • 2 teaspoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon sriracha (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice (freshly squeezed)
  • 1 tablespoon chopped chives
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Wonton chips or cucumber slices, for serving

🍳 Instructions:

1️⃣ Prep the Tuna and Avocado:
🔪 Carefully dice the sushi-grade tuna into small, even cubes. Do the same with the avocado, being gentle to avoid mashing it.

2️⃣ Make the Dressing:
🥣 In a mixing bowl, whisk together soy sauce, sesame oil, sriracha, lime juice, and grated ginger until fully blended.

3️⃣ Combine the Ingredients:
🧂 Add the tuna, avocado, chives, and sesame seeds to the bowl with the dressing. Gently toss to coat everything evenly. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

4️⃣ Chill (Optional):
❄️ For a colder, firmer tartare, refrigerate for 10–15 minutes before serving.

5️⃣ Serve:
🍽️ Spoon the mixture onto individual plates or a serving platter. Serve with crispy wonton chips, cucumber slices, or stack using a metal ring mold for a gourmet presentation.
