Deviled Eggs With Country Ham: Southern Charm in Every Bite
🍴 Ingredients
  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 2–3 tablespoons finely chopped cooked country ham
  • Optional garnish: chives, paprika, or extra ham bits

Boil the Eggs:
Place the eggs in a saucepan and cover with water. Bring to a boil, then cover, remove from heat, and let sit for 10–12 minutes. Transfer to an ice bath to cool completely.

Prep the Filling:
Peel the eggs and slice in half lengthwise. Carefully remove the yolks and place them in a bowl. Mash the yolks with mayonnaise, Dijon, and vinegar until smooth. Season with salt and pepper.

Fold in the Ham:
Gently stir in the chopped country ham, reserving a little for garnish if desired.

Fill the Eggs:

Refrigerate until ready to serve. These are best cold and can be made a few hours ahead.
