Grilled Tuna Steaks with Zesty Nectarine-Red Onion Relish
🥄 Ingredients:
  • 4 ahi tuna steaks (about 1-inch thick)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 ripe nectarines, diced
  • 1/2 small red onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon white wine vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh mint or basil
  • Juice of 1/2 lime

🍳 Instructions:

1️⃣ Make the Relish:
🍑 In a bowl, combine diced nectarines, red onion, vinegar, honey, lime juice, and herbs. Stir well and season with a pinch of salt and pepper. Let sit for 15–30 minutes to let the flavors meld.

2️⃣ Prepare the Tuna Steaks:
🧂 Brush tuna steaks with olive oil and season on both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes.
